Learning Resource Teachers

Learning resource teachers collaborate with classroom teachers to assess learning needs, recommend instructional strategies, structures, and resources, and support implementation and evaluation for struggling learners. Learning resource teachers liaise with district and community resource personnel to implement supports for learners and schedule and support Education Assistants in classrooms.  Learning resource teachers are an integral part of the school as they consult with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians concerning issues including assessment data, curriculum adaptations, relevant teaching strategies, and details of educational plans.

Our LRTs are Vanessa Wahl, Jenna Perry, and Tammy Gates.

Special Education Resource Teachers

Special educations resource teachers support teachers and outdents at our elementary schools who have mild to moderate exceptionalities.  Special education resource teachers participate as members of the school based team, liaise with parents, students, teachers, and administrators.  Special education resource teachers refer students to district services to enhance learning and write, review, implement, and monitor programs established for students.
