Employee and Family Assistance Program

The Board of Education of School District No. 50 is pleased to advise all regular employees of the services of the Employee and Family Assistance Program, a benefit offered to all eligible employees at no charge. The EFAP provides professional and confidential counseling services to School District No. 50 employees and their family members who may be experiencing problems in their personal, family, or work lives.

The EFAP is designed to provide you with immediate, direct, and voluntary access to an experienced professional who can assist you in resolving any concern that may be affecting your health, family life or work performance. These counseling services are available either face-to-face or over the telephone. A 24/7 crisis line is also available to provide you with counseling support during a time of critical need.

Our FSEAP Counsellor



Suh MA, RCC, RMFT FSEAP Counsellor, School District #50 Employee Assistance Program

As a practicing clinician for over 20 years in a number of settings, Jung brings a broad range of clinical expertise to her work as an EAP Counsellor. She holds certifications in many therapeutic modalities, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist. Jung is a valued employee of Family Services of Greater Vancouver, having worked in a number of agency programs including the Community Counselling Program, Employee Assistance Program, Children Affected by Family Violence Program, and Victim Support Services Programs.

Jung completed an MA in Counselling Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School in 1992 and has completed post graduate work at Brattleboro Family Institute, Yaletown Family Institute, and Satir Institute of the Pacific. She has taught Couples and Family Therapy at the Justice Institute of BC, and Diversity and Counselling at Vancouver Community College and City University.
