CHN has $12,000 worth of bursaries to invest in Haida Grade 12 Graduates on their academic journeys. Bursaries support students in stewardship, trades, IT & communications, and governance & administration. We want to see our young learners flourish!
Taawga hala leeyga and Lisa Edwards Memorial Bursaries! We are honoured to announce the Taawga hala leeyga Memorial Bursary to support a young female Haida student demonstrating leadership! For the second year, Haida students studying Business Administration or Finance can apply for the Lisa Edwards Memorial Bursary! Taawga hala leeyga and Lisa Edwards were strong women who helped to support and lead the administration and governance of the Haida Nation for many years.
To apply for a STRONG MINDS, STRONG NATION bursary, send us a short video (maximum 2 minutes) or a short essay (maximum 500 words) describing what you are studying and why. Applicants must be of Haida ancestry.
