I wanted to say Haa'wa to the Grade 7's of 2020 and their families for coming out to recognize this important transition. Even though Kingston, Moana, Gregory, and Jordyn are moving on to high school they will always be part of the ALM family. Here are some pics from that beautiful day and a video of Mr C singing them out. Here are the pics and the video Is coming soon. ... See MoreSee Less

I would like to share some photos from our small but none the less significant garden ceremony we held today in honour of Agnes L Mathers. Haa'wa to Chris Charman for sharing a family members perspective on what Mrs. Mathers meant to the community. I would also like to recognize Lillian Houston and Jordyn Zarry for the ceremonially planting a Tall Speedwell Perennial for 2020. Thanks to Mr C. for leading everyone in the "The Garden Song". Haa'wa for today. ... See MoreSee Less

I'm so sorry to miss this I have been to so many of them awesome pics thank you for sharing

Lovely.

Update: ALM is going to be having a small ceremony next Thursday the 18th of June at 10:30 am. The "Garden Party" has been an event that the entire community looks forward to. However, in light of COVID 19 we are keeping things simple all the while still keeping with the tradition of recognizing and honouring Agnes L Mathers. We are going to be only having one representative from the Mathers family, the oldest and youngest students along with their parents, as well as the staff and students who are on site.

Haa'wa to everyone for their understanding and keep safe,

Will Bedard
VP of ALM

Erika Stocker, her Opa is Archie Stocker and her father is Ralf Stocker. Haawa Erika.

Today on our morning walk through the woods we came across an injured bird. We were able to get into a back pack and Charly, Jack, and Jordyn said right away that we should bring it to Peter and Nancy. We arrived at their house and Peter inspected the bird and told us that it is a Varied Thrush. He said he was going to put it in a shoe box and hope for the best. On our walk back we decided that the students would do a mini-project on the bird. Haa'wa to Peter (and the birdie) for inspiring us. I will get an update from Peter tomorrow if the bird survived. ... See MoreSee Less
